I now shop online

Its Saturday and I'm now back in London and already i have a slight hangover going on.. The results of one pint turning into about eight, courtesy of the local weather-spoons. Quite a lot of friday was spent traveling back from Annabel's i managed to fall asleep on the train so i ended up at London Bridge which meant i had to travel almost the length of London to get home.

Its nice to be back at my uni house, i managed to catch up with Danielle, she managed to spend most of her Christmas working. Chris who i feel so proud for had his first experience of "alcoholic induced vomiting"! if you have ever met Chris you would no that is an achievement. Stewart well he is not back, who knows where he is. Finally Denis and Barry seemed to have conformed to the stereotype of an irishman and spent their christmas holiday drinking Guinness.. Nothing changes.

Yesterday also saw me try something new. I'm feeling confident i can do this challenge although this new thing wasn't actually on the list... I did my food shopping online! It took me twice as long as a visit to the shops would have and i spent at least three times more, but it was fun. Online shopping is such a magical invention. Most of my purchases involved me buying the heaviest things possible. This was me thinking i was being clever, cheating the system, bringing commonsense to Kenton. If i brought heavy things, this meant i wouldn't have to work up a sweat struggling back from the shops.. The truth is though i didn't really need 10 liters of orange juice or 14 tins of baked-beans i don't know why but i slipped into the mind set of a recluse. I shopped like i was never leaving my house again. This lasted about 5 minuets after i found that my shopping wouldn't be arriving for another three days and i was hungary. So after all that i ended up doing an online shop and a normal food shop. God my life is boring. But it was nice to wander round Sainsburys i nearly contemplated purchasing Christmas cards reduced to 99p but then i thought i would look a bit weird buying Christmas cards on the 2nd of January.

The rest of the yesterday was spent in the pub with Barry, Denis, and another irish person called Jay. Jay smiles a lot but the smile seems to increase depending on how much he drinks. By the end of the night his face must have really hurt. We where only going for one pint but then we decided there was nothing on TV apart from living on the edge which isn't that great so we found a table and settled in for the night, telling tales of how much we ate over Christmas and deciding it would be almost criminal not to have turkey on christmas day. I sometimes work at this particular pub and it is full of old men and nothing tends to work. For one the heating is broken and the electrics go of at least once and hour which results in all the drunk people cheering and and all the sober people leaving.

i actually have to go to work now so i will finish this later!
